European Le Mans Series

It has been a very long winter break but now it’s finally time to come back on track!

Eurointernational is ready to roar in Barcelona, first stage of 2024 European Le Mans Series calendar: next weekend the spanish racetrack will host the inaugural race and the italian team led by Antonio Ferrari is set to shine with its Ligier JSP3-Nissan together the confirmed drivers lineup. Adam Ali and Matthew Richard Bell are super excited to fight immediately for the podium after the great improvements shown in Portimao last autumn. Both have worked hard in the latest months together with the team, including test sessions on track (Barcelona and Imola) and some days spent in the workshop, in order to maximise every aspect of the car and related procedures.

Adam and Matt are on the same mindset looking at the incoming season: “It will be excited for sure and I’m looking forward to be at the wheel in Barcelona – said Adam at the eve – It will be a long season but I’m really confident we’ve the right cards to be really competitive.

Matt added: “Last year in Portimao was mega, we shown to be able to fight for the win and, in certain conditions like the rain, to match also the LMP2 Pro/Am lap times. I cannot wait to be also in Mugello, really happy to see this legendary racetrack into our calendar. We worked to improve in different areas like pit-stop times and reactions during driver swap, and I think we did a good step forward. There are many teams and cars that can fight against us for the win, one of them is Rinaldi for sure.

For both the target is the same: “Last year we got a silver medal with a great second part of the season. We want even more this season, simply do it better!

European Le Mans Series teams and drivers already had the opportunity to complete a good mileage and collect valuable data with two testing days as prologue of the weekend that will officially start on Friday 12th April with the free practice scheduled at 11:50, followed by the session dedicated to the bronze drivers. The action will be more intense on saturday with Free Practice 2 and qualify sessions while the race will start at 11:30 on sunday.
