Eurointernational returns to action this weekend for the fourth round of the 2026 European Le Mans Series, at one of the most iconic and demanding circuits on the calendar: Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
The Ligier #11 will once again be shared by Max Van Der Snel, Matthew Robert Bell and Douwe Dedecker, with the entire team heading into the Belgian round highly motivated after the strong potential demonstrated in the opening three races of the season.
Barcelona, Paul Ricard and Imola have all provided clear evidence of the competitiveness of the package, with the #11 repeatedly fighting at the front of the LMP3 field. Despite circumstances preventing the team from fully converting that pace into a podium result, the performance shown so far provides strong motivation ahead of Spa.
The weekend officially began on Wednesday with the collective test, an important opportunity for teams to prepare for the race weekend. However, the afternoon session was prematurely interrupted for the Novara-based team led by Antonio Ferrari, following a technical issue on the Ligier LMP3. With valuable track time lost, the team will now focus on making the most of every available session from Friday onwards.
As always at Spa-Francorchamps, weather conditions could play a significant role throughout the weekend. The Ardennes circuit is renowned for its rapidly changing weather, and variable conditions have already been experienced in the days leading up to the event, including during Wednesday’s collective test. Rain, wind and changing track conditions could therefore become important factors in both race strategy and car setup.
With the fourth round marking an important point in the championship, Eurointernational is ready to face another demanding weekend and build on the pace demonstrated throughout the season so far.
